is small hamlet situated on the Dorset Heritage Coast about seven miles from Weymouth & Dorchester. It is a designated area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' and 'Special Scientific Interest' and has now become part of a new World Heritage Site. The coast path runs through Ringstead and much of the cliff and surrounding farmland is owned by the National Trust.
The Creek Caravan Site in Ringstead is superbly situated at the end of a no through road in a quiet 3 acres which has beach frontage allowing immediate access down to the beach. The 30 vans nestle among maturing trees and each one has a view of the sea. All but four vans are privately owned which makes for a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You too can enjoy this splendid location through renting or even buying a caravan on the site.
Coast Path Cottage, situated at the entrance to the caravan site, is also available to rent. This 'fisherman's cottage' is a wooden chalet added to over a number of years but originally dating back to the 1950s. It sleeps 8 people in 3 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bed room with a double sofa bed in the sittingroom. It has its own small sun trap garden with outside furniture and a BBQ. Please note this is a Friday to Friday let but can also take short breaks out of season.
